Get set up.
Then let it work.

Everything you need in one place: what to send us, how to give us access to Google, how your number works, and how to use the app once you're live.

Step by step

What we need from you

Most of this takes a few minutes. Do them in any order — your tracker page shows what's done and what's still waiting on you.

  • 1
Answer your questions and add photosUse the link we emailed you. It saves as you type. Add your logo and your best job photos — real photos win more calls than stock pictures.
  • 2
Give us Manager access to your Google Business ProfileAbout 2 minutes. This lets us post for you every week, show your live rating and bring your reviews into the app. How to do it
  • 3
Send your texting registration detailsThe phone companies need your legal business details before any business can send texts. What they ask for
  • 4
Tell us how you want your phone set upA new local number, your current number forwarded, or both. Your options
  • 5
Tell us who uses the appName, email and mobile for you and anyone on your team who answers customers.
  • 6
Your booking hoursThe days and hours you take estimates or jobs, and how long a normal visit takes. We set your calendar from this.
  • 7
Your past customers (optional, but worth it)A simple list — name, phone, email — of past customers who agreed to hear from you. It powers review asks, referral asks and slow-week promos. A spreadsheet or an export from your old system is fine.
  • 8
Your website address, if you already have oneIf you own a domain, we'll email you short instructions to point it at your new site. If you don't, we register one for you.
Send anything from this list to [email protected] — reply to any of our emails and it reaches us.
About 2 minutes

Give us access to your Google Business Profile

Your Google Business Profile is the listing that shows up on Google Search and Google Maps with your hours, photos and reviews. We need Manager access so we can post for you every week, keep your details right and bring your reviews into your app.

Invite this email address:

On a computer

  1. Go to business.google.com and sign in with the Google account that owns your listing.
  2. Open your business. Click the ⋮ menu (or More) and choose Business Profile settings.
  3. Click People and access, then Add.
  4. Paste [email protected].
  5. Under Access, choose Manager. Click Invite.

On your phone

  1. Open the Google Maps app (or search your business name in the Google app while signed in).
  2. Tap your profile picture, then Your Business Profile, and pick your business.
  3. Tap the ⋮ menuBusiness Profile settingsPeople and access.
  4. Tap Add, type [email protected], choose Manager and send the invite.

Why Manager and not Owner? A Manager can post, add photos, update hours and reply to reviews. A Manager cannot remove you, add other people or delete your listing. You stay the owner, always. You can remove our access any time from the same screen.

If something is different

  • You don't have a listing yet. Tell us. We'll help you create one at business.google.com — Google usually asks you to verify it with a short video of your truck, shop or tools. Once it's verified, invite us the same way.
  • You can't find your listing or someone else set it up (an old marketing company, a former employee): search your business on Google Maps, tap Own this business? and request access. Google contacts the current owner. Tell us and we'll walk you through it by email.
  • You see "Pending verification" or "Suspended". Send us a screenshot — don't create a second listing, that makes it worse.
We see the invite on our side as soon as you send it. You'll see "Google Business access — done" on your tracker once we've accepted it.
Required by the phone companies

Texting registration (A2P)

Since 2023, every business that sends texts from software has to register with the phone companies first. It stops spam — and it's why our texts actually arrive instead of being blocked. We file it for you. We just need your details, and they must match your tax records exactly.

What we needTip
Legal business nameExactly as it appears on your IRS paperwork (your EIN letter), including "LLC" or "Inc."
EIN (tax ID number)9 digits. If you don't have one, you're registered as a sole proprietor instead — see below.
Business typeLLC, corporation, partnership or sole proprietor.
Business street addressA real street address. PO boxes are rejected. It isn't shown on your website unless you want it to be.
Your name, title, email and mobileThe person responsible for the business. You may get a short code by text or email to confirm it's you — just send it back to us.

No EIN? You can still text. Sole proprietors register with their own legal name, a personal email (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook — not a company email) and their personal mobile number. You'll get a verification text — reply to confirm. Sole-proprietor numbers have lower daily limits, which is plenty for most local businesses.

How long it takes: usually one to three weeks, sometimes longer if the carriers ask a question. Your website goes live without waiting for it. Texting switches on the day it clears, and your tracker shows where it is.
Your business number

How your number works

The system answers through a business number we set up for you. Calls to it ring straight through to your cell phone. If you can't pick up, the caller gets a text back within 60 seconds and the lead lands in your app.

Option A — a new local number (simplest)

We give you a local number with your area code. It goes on your website and your Google listing. Calls ring your cell. Nothing to change on your phone.

Option B — keep your current number

Your existing number stays on your truck and cards. You set it to forward missed calls to your new business number, so every missed call still gets a text back.

Most people do both: the new number on the website and Google, and missed-call forwarding on the old one.

How to forward missed calls from your cell (Option B)

Replace NUMBER with the 10-digit business number we send you. Dial the code like a phone call and wait for the confirmation.

CarrierTurn on (forward when you don't answer)Turn off
Verizon*71NUMBER*73
AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular and most others**61*NUMBER# — and **67*NUMBER# for when you're on another call##002#
If the code doesn't work (some prepaid plans and business lines differ), call your carrier and ask for "conditional call forwarding when I don't answer". It's free on almost every plan. Test it: call your cell from another phone, don't answer, and you should get our text back.

Using a landline or office phone system? Tell us the provider — most have a "forward on no answer" setting in their online portal.

5 minutes

Install the app

Everything lives in one app: your leads, texts, calls, calendar, reviews and your pipeline. It runs on the LeadConnector platform, so that's the name you'll see in the app store.

  1. Download LeadConnector: App Store (iPhone) · Google Play (Android).
  2. Open the email titled "Your login" from us. Tap the link to set your password.
  3. In the app, sign in with that email and password. If it asks, pick your business.
  4. Allow notifications. This matters more than anything else on this page — it's how you know a new lead came in.
  5. Send yourself a test: from another phone, call your business number and don't answer. Within a minute you'll see the text go out and a new lead appear.
No notifications? iPhone: Settings → Notifications → LeadConnector → Allow. Android: Settings → Apps → LeadConnector → Notifications → On. Also check Focus / Do Not Disturb.

You can also use it on a computer at the web address in your login email — same account, same data.

Your day-to-day

Using it every day

You only need four screens.

Conversations

Every text, missed call, website form and Google review, in one list. Tap one to reply — your reply goes out from your business number, not your personal cell.

Opportunities (your pipeline)

Every job, from new lead to paid, with what it's worth. Moving a job to the next stage is what tells the system what to send next.

Calendar

Estimates and jobs. Book it here and the customer gets a confirmation, plus reminders a day before and an hour before.

Contacts

Everyone who ever reached out, with the full history: texts, calls (recorded and summed up) and notes.

The one habit that makes it work: move the job

The automations follow your pipeline. Keep each job in the right stage and the system does the follow-up for you.

When you move it to…What happens by itself
BookedConfirmation text, then reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before.
QuotedQuote follow-ups on day 2 and day 5 — they stop the moment the customer replies.
WonQuote follow-ups stop. The job counts toward your monthly numbers.
CompletedA review request 2 hours later, reminders on day 2, 5 and 10 if they haven't left one, and a referral ask on day 30.
To move a job: open Opportunities, tap the job, change its stage. Or press and drag the card on a computer. Takes three seconds — do it when you leave the job site.

When the calendar is thin

Slow-week promos

Your account comes with ready-made offers written for your kind of business — a seasonal tune-up, a returning-customer discount, a thank-you for sending a friend. When you want more work on the calendar, pick one and send it to your past customers. Replies come into Conversations like any other lead.

  1. Open Contacts and choose the Past customers list.
  2. Pick the offer you want from your saved templates.
  3. Send. That's it — replies land in Conversations.

Only to people who said yes. Promos go only to customers who agreed to hear from you, and every message includes "Reply STOP to opt out". That's the law, and it also keeps your number in good standing with the carriers. Want a custom offer? Email us what you want to say and we'll set it up.
